Medical & Safety Disclaimer

In an emergency, call 911. If you see sudden weakness, face drooping, trouble speaking, sudden confusion, or vision or balance changes, call 911 right away — even if the symptoms improve.

What DAP Triad is

DAP Triad is a caregiver education, support, and organization tool for families. It helps you learn practical approaches, keep private notes, and share simple care updates with people you approve.

What DAP Triad is not

  • Not a medical provider and not medical, nursing, or therapy advice.
  • Not a diagnosis service for dementia, Parkinson's, or any other condition.
  • Not an emergency service and not monitored by clinicians.
  • Not a medical record, medication management, or prescription service.

How to use the guidance

Every person is different. Use DAP Triad's suggestions as general ideas, and follow the instructions of the doctor, nurse, or therapist who knows the person you care for. Before helping with walking, standing, transfers, bathing, or moving someone, ask a physical or occupational therapist to show you what is safe for that person. Never lift or move a person in a way that risks injury to either of you.

Medications

DAP Triad does not manage medications and never tells you to start, stop, split, or change a dose. Talk to the prescriber or pharmacist about any medication question.
